Breakfast Apple Sausage Casserole
1 pound breakfast sausage
6 medium apples; cored, peeled, and sliced
1 tablespoon lemon juice
4 tablespoons brown sugar
1/2 cup raisins
salt and pepper to taste
slice sausage into bite-sized pieces. Brown sausage, drain thoroughly.
Combine sausage, apple, and raisins into a buttered casserole dish.
Sprinkle with salt, pepper, lemon juice and brown sugar. Toss lightly.
Cover and bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes.
